Program Overview

Computer Engineering is a discipline that integrates the fields of electrical engineering and computer science. Weber State University offers a BS and a MS in Computer Engineering that can be merged into a combined BS/MS program. The combined program provides students with the opportunity to obtain both degrees in as little as five years, which is less time than would be required to pursue the two degrees independently.

Admission requirements                 

According to Weber State University, to be eligible for admission to the Master of Science in Computer Engineering program, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

Applicants for admission into the Master of Science in Computer Engineering program must possess a bachelor’s degree or be in the final stage of completing the degree. An overall GPA of 3.0 is required from the undergraduate program in which the bachelor’s degree is earned.

Applicants will submit:

  • Official transcripts from every institution of higher education attended
  • Scores from the GRE
  • Contact information for three references, at least one from a professional context and one from an academic context
